Storage Division

The large general storage facilities maintained at our Bomen site allows storage and distribution of products for some of our valued customer base including Cement Australia, Pacific Salt, Visy Ltd and Cargill Australia.

During the annual rural harvest season, a hive of activity is the moist apt descriptor for our 18,000 tonne grain storage facility. RTS vehicles coupled with other local transport operators delivering grain ‘around the clock’ demands that the site is operational 7 days per week. In addition, to the purchase and storage of grain during the harvest season, RTS also then distributes the grain moved through the RTS site during this period throughout the remainder of the year.

Our fully electronic 100 tonne split weighbridge ensures that all grain is weighed and tracked with the utmost precision and given it is the only public weighbridge within a 300kms radius of Wagga Wagga, the activity associated with the harvest season requires a full-time staff dedicated just to the weighbridge.
